Officer's flintlock pommel pistol converted to percussion. Lock signed "Chateleray Valence" and flat-bodied hammer, cut and chased iron fittings, long-eared pommel, worked on the sides, partly long-barreled walnut frame, partly carved with metal thumbpiece, wooden ramrod with iron pad. Average condition (shortened weapon). Circa 1730. Chatelleraud le Jeune, harquebusier in Valence, active around 1730.
