Chawan. Nezumi-Shino. Mino area, Owari province. Early Edo period, 17th century. Low, almost straight wall and slightly irregular foot ring. Whitish glaze, overlaid with a grey glaze with red discolorations and recessed grasses on one side and a pattern of alternating short and long straight lines on the other, suggesting a stylized depiction of reeds.
