Thangka of a lama of the Karma Kagyu school. Tibet. 18th century. The main figure is depicted sitting on a large red throne, holding a glass vase with a large lotus plant in his right hand, the stem of which is held with his left hand. On her head is the blue Kagyu hat, with golden jewelry in her ears and on her body. In front of the throne is an adorant with a retinue and an extremely rare depiction of a dog-headed creature. This work probably belongs to a group of thangkas with Eight Great Bodhisattvas. Traces of age. Brocade mount.
