Architectural fragment. Sandstone. Central India. In the style of the 12th/13th century. Both standing on a small plinth, the female figure with crossed legs, her body richly adorned with necklaces and strings of pearls, holding the thick stem of a bud, the male figure depicted somewhat recessed with an attribute. Remains of light brick-colored whitewash. H 60.5 cm Provenance Private collection, Southern Germany
