Female torso. Sandstone. Central India. 10th century. Busty, in tribhanga posture and with her hair piled high, head and body adorned with jewelry: large discs on the ears, necklace with pendant and longer chain around the neck, bracelets, a beaded belt around the hips, from which beaded chains hang in long arcs and which holds the tight-fitting dhoti together.
