He was a French composer and director of the Paris Conservatoire + Autograph visiting card signed for Madame Juliette MASSENET. Word of apology. Signed "Juliette Massenet". Juliette MASSENET (1868-1935) was the daughter of composer Jules Émile Frédéric MASSENET (1842-1912), pianist and professor at the Conservatoire national de musique et de déclamation. His pupil was the composer Gustave Charpentier. + Louise LABICHE, wife of Eugène LABICHE. Adèle Hubert was the daughter of a wealthy miller. On April 25, 1842, she married Eugène Labiche (1815-1888), a French playwright who was a member of the Académie française from 1880 until his death. Cardboard A.S. of compliments to a friend.
