Camille continues: "My dear Julie, I'm in the middle of working on the figure painting, I'm far from finished, I can't say when I'll be finished, besides, what will I do in Eragny? With the uncertain weather, I'd have to start all over again with the same motifs from up close... and then with the painters and masons in the house, I'd be doing a very bad job [...]" He thinks it would be "a big mistake to turn the dining room into a bedroom" facing north: "Eragny is cold enough without going north".
