National assets or national domains are domains and possessions of the Church, property of the Crown, as well as the assets of some nobles (buildings, objects, agricultural land, mines, woods and forests) of the First Republic which were confiscated during the French Revolution, in accordance with the decree of November 2, 1789. Important testimony by this lawyer, born in Lyon in 1800, President of the Chamber of Deputies from 1839 to 1848. In the performance of his duties, he demonstrated complete devotion to the government. 2.
