Bavarian Landwehr composite crawler helmet. Black leather bomb, visor and chinstrap sewn to the bomb by a black leather bourdalou, flat scale chinstraps on leather settee, held to the helmet by two leonine mufles, black bearskin chenille. The bomb is reinforced with vertical brass rods, one of which is fitted with a pencil holder holding a ponceau-red carrot, with its black wolf-toothed leather interior. No Bavarian cockade. Stamped bronze leaf frame, three-lobed pommel enriched with inlays, symmetrical guard, quillon slightly arched to the rear. Gold and silver inlays, spindle in two copper half-shells, also inlaid with decoration, in its wooden three-piece scabbard with floral decoration in relief, finely crafted mother-of-pearl inlay with leaf, flower and vine motifs. The body is ornamented with a detailed plumage and two birds on the front, showing a symmetrically decorated set. The head is the lid of the box and the bottom has a hole.
