Griselidis Réal peintre (catalog raisonné) - Swiss peripatetic artist and writer, Grisélidis Réal (1929-2005) campaigned for the dignity of prostitutes. After training at the Zürich School of Arts and Crafts, Grisélidis exhibited very little, although she did try to make a living from her painting; but material worries and the vagaries of love, followed by her activism as a revolutionary whore, sidelined her plastic creativity. Yet, on her tombstone, she wanted the epitaph writer - painter - prostitute. Jehane Zouyene has carried out original research into her graphic and pictorial work, studying her iconography, that of a fantastic bestiary and an ideal of wild life.
