André Bizette-Lindet (1906-1998) Woman with jug on her head Bronze with green-brown patina Signed "A. Bizette" on the back of the base Numbered "L235 H. 67 cm, resting on a gray marble base H. 4 cm A student of Antoine Injalbert, André Bizette-Lindet was awarded the Grand Prix de Rome in 1929. Appointed painter to the French Navy in 1949, he was responsible for the bronze doors of the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris and the decoration of Sainte-Anne d'Auray.
