Objectif lune, 1957 edition (B22, the BDM will no longer have to question its existence), with a handwritten dedication by Hergé, dated 1979, and 6 dedications by astronauts who actually walked on the moon, one for each of the manned lunar missions, plus a dedication by Fred Haise, LEM pilot on the aborted Apollo 13 mission. A folder containing photos of the astronauts signing the album is included. Very good condition. He signed and wrote: "FIRST MOONWALKER AFTER TINTIN". Apollo 12 Allan Bean, lunar module pilot on the second lunar mission and fourth man to walk on the moon, signed and wrote: "I MIGHT SEE THE FOOTPRINTS OF NEIL AND BUZZ, AND MAYBE EVEN TINTIN'S". Apollo 13 Fred Haise, lunar module pilot on this aborted mission (the astronauts were dubbed space castaways) wrote "LIKE TINTIN BEFORE, ME WE HAVE HAD PROBLEM DURING OUR FLIGHT TO THE MOON, BUT WE CAME BACK SAFE". Apollo 14 Edgar Michell, lunar module pilot on the fourth lunar mission and sixth man to walk on the moon, signs and writes "THE LONGEST WALK ON THE MOON AFTER TINTIN'S". Apollo 15 Dave Scott, Commander of the fifth lunar mission and seventh man to walk on the moon, signed and wrote: "FIRST MAN TO DRIVE AND EXPLORE THE MOON AFTER TINTIN". ("First man to drive and explore the moon after Tintin"). Apollo 16 Charlie Duke, lunar module pilot on the sixth lunar mission and tenth man to walk on the moon, signed and wrote: "THE YOUGEST MAN TO EXPLORE THE MOON AFTER TINTIN". Apollo 17 Gene Cernana flew two lunar missions: He first approached the moon (at 8.4 miles) during the Apollo 10 test mission. He then served as captain of Apollo 17, becoming the last man to walk on the moon. He signed and wrote: "I AM NOT SO SURE TINTIN WAS THE FIRST MOONWALKER BUT I AM SURE TO BE THE LATEST ONE (UP TO NOW)".
