Grenadier headdress for the Yaroslavl musketeer regiment, 1802 model, formed by a brass plate with repoussé decoration of the imperial eagle and the Cyrillic motto "God is with us", attached to a wood and metal frame trimmed with yellow and green fabric. Wear to the fabric. Russia, early 19th century. H. 28 x D. 19 cm. Provenance Collection of Monsieur G. Related work A very similar headdress is preserved in the Military Uniform Museum in Moscow.
