Token in the form of a miniature sabretache of the Imperial Guard Hussars regiment in 84 zolotniks silver (875 thousandths) decorated with the monogram of Tsar Nicholas II on a red guilloche enamel background, the back opening and engraved with the date 1898 and the Cyrillic initials "P.P.". Russia, privately made, circa 1898. No apparent hallmark. H. 5.8 x W. 2.9 cm. Gross weight: 18.2 g. Provenance Collection of Monsieur G.
