Pair of 56 zolotniks (583 thousandths) two-color gold cufflinks formed by two 18th-century rubles featuring the gilded left profile of Empress Elisabeth Petrovna on a translucent red guilloché enameled background of grains of rice and bordered by a laurel leaf frieze, the other end formed by a rectangular white enameled element decorated with a cross set with diamond-cut roses. Good condition. Saint Petersburg, circa 1890. Goldsmith: Mikhaïl PERKHIN for FABERGÉ D. 2 cm. Gross weight: 20.0 g.
