Description
Manufacture of DRESDE in the taste of MEISSEN Large dinner service made mostly of polychrome enameled porcelain. It rests on a rocaille mound with openwork and jagged clasps. The shaft, in imitation of a palm tree, bears four natural marine shells forming baskets on two levels. The whole is scattered with flowers in relief in the Meissen style and topped by two cherubs carrying a soliflore cornet. Germany, Rococo style, late 19th or early 20th century. Height: 44 cm. Width 36 cm. Minor chips to some petals.
