A Delightful Japanese Early 19th Century Lacquer Box. Finely decorated with a pair of Quail amongst pine and poppies. Red mottles effect with gilded accents. In very good antique condition with a few signs of crazing that does not detract from this unusual box. 19cm x 19cm.

Russian Orthodox icon of Christ surrounded by a group of twelve standing and kneeling saints on a richly gilt ground, the upper part showing God Almighty looking down at the scene from heaven. MORE IMAGES WILL BE ADDED IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS Dimensions: 12 x 10 1/2 in., (31 x 25 cm.) The icon is in good condition overall. A few paint chips, signs of age, and wear, as expected.
