1945 FETES de la LIBERATION / Set of 16 original period photographs from the photographic department of the Ministry of Information (3 types of inked stamps on the back), fine format (17.5 c 23.5 cm on average), most with traces of thumbtacks (these documents were intended for distribution), They commemorate the presentation of the Liberation Cross to the City of Paris by General de Gaulle on April 2, 1945, and the celebrations of July 14, 1945, and are almost all captioned in the photo with a serial number (from several different series): General view of the parade forming the V of Victory, the arrival of French troops from Germany, the flame is rekindled under the Arc de Triomphe, the Place de la Concorde during the ceremony, the parade on the Grands Boulevards, the peaceful parade of the Scouts de France, an organization banned under the occupation, the smiling welcome from Brittany, etc.
