Journal "La Chanson illustrée", published 1869-1970 and containing a total of 78 issues. Very rare collection of the first 70 issues, each issue running to 4 pages with a color illustration on the first page. The editor-in-chief was Alexandre Flan. The first 40 issues make up the first year, and the last 38 the second. Despite its great success, the journal disappeared after Flan's suicide in September 1870. N°36 incomplete (large tear with missing first leaf). Rare.

Lot of approximately 20 issues of French journal including 9 issues of "Le Rire" with anti-Semitic illustrations and additional issues of "Le Petit Journal" covering the Dreyfus Affair. 1898-1935. Overall good condition, slight tears and stains to some of the issues.

Some twenty beautiful pieces on the beginnings of women's sport, and its high priestess: a) Très Sport, 1925, an issue encouraging women's sport; b) five original photos from the 20s and 30s; c) two women's sport vignettes; d) eleven issues of "Miroir des Sports", between 1921 and 1926, with in particular L'Olympiade de Monte Carle in 1922; e) Bulletin n°1 des Sociétés Françaises de sports et gymnastique with Alice Milliart, 1920; f) 1950s booklet on women's physical education.
