Devonian Heliophyllum coral from Es Smara, Morocco. Length: 3.5cm An extinct genus of coral in the Zaphrentidae family (Rugosa order) that lived in the Devonian period, around 420 to 360 million years ago. It had a vast range and is sometimes nicknamed coral horn.
