The "Belle Epoque" brut champagne, also called "Fleur de Champagne" is the most esteemed product of the house of Perrier-Joüet, founded in 1811 by Pierre Nicolas Marie Perrier and his wife Adèle Joüet. A highly sensual champagne, the fruit of chardonnay and pinot noir. Its Belle Epoque champagne was created in 1964 and launched in 1969, becoming one of the brand's great successes of the 20th century. This launch marked a turning point for the brand, with the rediscovery of the bottle designed by Emile Gallè, which slept for more than 60 years in the cellars of the cellar. Belle Epoque, made from Chardonnay grapes, was called Fleur de Champagne in the United States, becoming one of the most popular champagnes in the world.
