Empire-period gilded bronze Légion d'honneur clock, the enameled dial set in a milestone inscribed "Honneur et Patrie" and adorned with military trophies, a peasant with his log bearing the insignia of the Légion d'honneur on his chest standing on one side with his hand on his chest, a republican flag and rifle held by a laurel wreath on the other. The whole rests on a base adorned with bas-relief and palmettes frieze motifs, resting on four square feet. Early 19th century.
