Restauration-period gilt bronze troubadour clock with enameled dial, minute markers and Roman numerals for the hours, signed between the two winding holes. It is set in a bollard decorated with faux-stones, on which sits a young man holding a lyre being strummed by an angel. It stands on a sea-green marble base adorned with ormolu music trophies, and rests on four flattened ball feet. Early 19th century. With winding key. - H. 45 cm - (Marble base corners dull)
