Louis XVI period round box in three-tone gold, with chased and engraved decoration. The lid features a central hexagonal medallion with a scene of a dog and two doves wearing laurel wreaths around an antique altar, bordered by friezes of grapevines repeated around the perimeter of the box and under the base. The entire surface is guilloché and engraved with floral motifs. Late 18th century. Traces of hallmarked letters in the box. Net weight: 58.5 g.
