André MASSOULE (1851-1901), l'Ancêtre, created circa 1882, brown patina bonze on a green marble base with doucine. Signed on the terrace and stamped "THIEBAUT FRERES FONDEURS PARIS". H. 57 cm (chips at base) - - MASSOULE André: Around busts, medallions and statues of contemporary or historical figures, he executed two hammered copper groups for the Alexandre III bridge in 1900.
