François BOUCHER (Paris 1703-1770). - Family scene in a rustic interior. - Pen and brown ink, brown wash over black pencil strokes - 28.4 x 21 cm - Insolate, small holes, small stains and a few scratches, drawing pasted in full - - Provenance :Stamp of the editor Jean-Baptiste Glomy (L.1119) - Related works: Our drawing can be compared with the engraving of the same subject with important variants, "Le petit ménage" by Huquier fils (see P. Jean-Richard, l'œuvre gravée de François Boucher, Paris, 1978, Paris, N°1188, repr.). - A drawing related to this engraving is in the Albertina, Vienna (inventory 12155). Another version from the Paignon-Dijonval collection was sold at Hôtel Drouot (see Vente anonyme Paris, Hôtel Drouot, Maîtres Bailly-Pommery, March 23, 1994, N°5 repr.
