A complete year (the second one and the first full year of the series, published from August 1796 to 1842, continued as Amsterdamsch Effectenblad) of a financial newspaper, published every Tuesday and every Friday. A valuable historical source for that year, the Prys-Courant lists all kinds of bonds, for instance of the Dutch provinces and individual cities, the East India Company, Russia, Denmark, Sweden, Poland, "Engelsche fondsen in Londen den 17 December", "Amerikaansche fondsen in New York den 26 October", but also the daily "Wissel-cours van Amsterdam", "Specie-cours", "Publieke veylingen van de onderstaande effecten", "Pryzen der Effecten, geveild op (...)", "Pryzen der onderstaande perceelen, geveild op (...)" etc.
