[Manuscripts] Official and notarial documents, lot of seven 17th-19th cent., var. sizes, on paper and vellum. Comprises a.o.: (1) Passe-port. Letterpress passport filled out in pen to Johan Gerard Geertsema Jullens (1789-1864), 39.5 x 27.5 cm, issued by Gijsbert Karel van Hogendorp (1762-1834) in the name of "Le Prince d'Orange-Nassau" (the later king Willem I of the Netherlands), dated The Hague, 24 June 1814 and signed by Van Zuylen van Nyevelt and Jullens, w. tax blindstamp and wax seal, folded. Very well preserved passport issued at an interesting moment in Dutch history, just after Napoleon's defeat in the battle of Leipzig in 1813 and just before Willem Frederik prince of Orange-Nassau was crowned king of the Netherlands in 1815. The features of Jullens are described in detail, mentioning his age, size, hair, face, eyebrows, eyes, nose, mouth, beard, chin, etc. -and 6 miscell. other documents, incl. similar passports, dated 1636, 1696 and 1700, documents concerning a house in Amsterdam on the North side of the Anjeliersstraat, between the first and second "dwarsstraat" and a 1778 document signed by Heinrich von Born.
