[Manuscripts] [Arnhem] Testament and last will of Jan Grothe (1704-1775) Envelope w. 4 attached lvs w. many wax seals. 1st leaf contains superscription, dated 1776, 2nd leaf blank, lvs 3-4 contain the testament and last will of Grothe, dated 1773. Grothe was a lawyer and secretary of Arnhem. The testament is written by Grothe himself and in it he bequeaths his estates in i.a. Arnhem and Zutphen to his children and direct family.
