[Manuscripts] Alba amicorum, five items: (1) Dutch album amicorum 30 contributions dated 1835-1845. Consisting of poems, drawings in var. techniques, embroidery pieces and "prikwerk", on lvs w. gilt edges, loosely inserted in col. and embossed paper obl. book-shaped box w. gilt paper edges and sm. print mounted on front cover, 10.5 x 17 cm, in the orig. marbled board chemise w. ties. Front cover loose, otherwise fine. Also incl. in the box is a sm. lock of human hair, a later postcard w. orig. drawing and 7 unused lvs. A few names: A.J. Jaumenne (still-life in black chalk and watercolour), L.W. Roorda (Vlissingen), Frissart neê Grisart (Tiel), O.H. Feith (Kampen, gouache of a bird), D. Biersma (Heerenveen, embroidered bouquet), C.M. van Eelde (Vreeland), R. van der Weide (Dokkum), G.M. Ledeboer (Kampen), P.H. van Deventer (Naarden) and C.V. Sickinge (Winschoten). (2) A notebook titled "Poèmes de Marie Rickman van Steenes, Soerabaia 11-10-1888". (3) A sm. early 20th cent. album amicorum.
