Richly ill. w. col. lithogr. plates a wide range of styles: Jugendstil, impressionist, expressionist, satirical, etc. Ills. cl. 4to. Bindings worn, some top margins cut sl. short, browning. Not entirely collated, assumed complete. Jugend was founded in 1896 in Munich by Georg Hirth and published until 1940. It was originally intended to showcase German arts and crafts, but became famous for showcasing the German version of Art Nouveau instead. (total 7)
