[Numismatics and Stock Certificates] Zestig Bijbeltafereelen uit het Oude en Nieuwe Verbond naar de Prachtmedaljes van Thomason, te Londen, berustende in het Koninklijke Penninkabinet, te 's Gravenhage, afgegoten door den Amanuensis H.J. van Kempen. (The Hague), n.d. (ca. 1880), sixty cast gypsum tokens, Ø7 cm each, mounted in series of 12 tokens in 5 shallow displays w. gilt wooden frames, w. loosely inserted manuscript title-p./ index, together in book-shaped box of gilt-lettered mor. over wooden covers, w. brass clasps and catches, a.e.g., 37 x 28 x 11 cm. Some tokens cracked or otherwise sl. dam., cloth inner hinge loose from lowest display (the four other displays together loose from binding), occas. defects to the frames, clasps loose, leather worn along extremities. Extremely rare collection of cast gypsum tokens after Sir Edward Thomason (1769-1849). Cf.
