[World War II] Blessing, Bernard Joseph (1916-1989). Personal archive of the World War II resistance fighter Most items ca. 1935-1965. Incl. a.o.: (1-3) Black cloth armband w. printed letters CD, handed out by the British Civil Defence to the Nederlandse Binnenlandse Strijdkrachten during the liberation of the Netherlands. -and 2 similar armbands, one marked w. "Waarmerkstempel Amsterdam" for the "OD" (Ordedienst), the other w. the word "Oranje" and issued at the end of the war for the Binnenlandse Strijdkrachten. (4-5) Two of Blessing's ID cards for the Nederlandsche Binnenlandsche Strijdkrachten, 1945. (6) Blessing's passport, 1941. (7) Blessing's "Appèlboekje" 18e Regiment Infanterie, his "Oorlogszakboekje" (1936, w. dog tag), a "Verlofpas" (1940) and other documents of the 18e Regiment Infanterie.
