To his son Charles. "Four words at a gallop, my Charles. You have received from Meurice the 1500fr. I sent you". He now awaits his letter announcing their arrival in Brussels, reminding him that he needs to be warned, as his room must be prepared, and his clothes moved... "Here you are near the extreme limit for Alice and Georges, and you know the responsibility of a delay. So hurry and leave, and write to me quickly. I shall arrive at once. I kiss you, my Charles, and your dear wife, and your beloved mother; and I hold you all in my old arms." [The letter was forwarded to Spa.]
