Paris November 27, 1778. She relates her approach to the President de Montreuil in favor of Sade, their conversation, how she pleaded the Marquis's case; de Sade's family must be brought in... "Mde de Montreuil is a charming woman, a lovely narrator, still very fresh, more petite than tall, with a pleasant figure, a laugh and a seductive glance, witty as an elf, the wisdom and candor of an angel, yet as fine as a fox, but amiable and seductive in her own way"... Mme de Sade is quite thin: "I shake her up a bit"... - November 30. She denounces the canon's dishonest actions, and questions the Commandeur's conduct. May 8, 1779. Long, piquant letter on the Capuchin Jean-Baptiste's stay in Paris; his visit to Mme de Sade, with a letter from Mme de Cavaillon; the father must have ended his stay by being plucked at gambling and by women...
