Artist information: French-American object artist (1928 Nice - 2005 New York), artist's name Arman, completed his baccalauréat in philosophy and mathematics, then studied at the École Nationale des Arts Décoratifs in Nice until 1949, studied archaeology and oriental art at the École du Louvre in Paris, began to devote himself to painting and surrealism, but was interested in a wide range of artistic themes and incorporated many influences into his personal art, he was particularly interested in themes of the destruction and fragmentation of objects, the parts of which he often installed as accumulations, he was a founding member of the movement Les Nouveaux Réalistes.
