Pyriform vase with projecting lip. Agate Antique or in antique style H. 3.5 cm. Note: in Hellenistic and Roman times, semi-precious stone vessels were highly sought-after as symbols of wealth and sophistication. They were used as diplomatic gifts or cherished as heirlooms, and many found their way into royal tombs or imperial collections, both in antiquity and later.
