Small in-8, blond calf, triple fillet, smooth spine decorated with gilt crosses and small dots, gilt edges ( 19th century binding). Brunet, I-1196 // Tchemerzine-Scheler, II-109. (6 f.)-96 f. (with foliation errors) / ã6, A-M8 / 98 x 162 mm. First edition. Pierre de Brach's translation of chants II, IV, XII and XVI of Hierusalem by Tasso. Canto XII has the Italian text opposite. Pierre de Brach had already translated Aminte, by the same author. Edition with an engraved portrait by Thomas de Leu. Covers missing. Stain on front cover, some rubbing, angular wetness at beginning of volume.
