Straight mahogany-veneered writing desk, opening with a transverse drawer. The middle section opens with a flap to reveal a window adorned with three tiered shelves underlined by seven drawers in three rows, the central one being boxed. The lower part opens with two leaves revealing a shelf. The pilastered jambs are surmounted by bronze Egyptian heads. It stands on four legs, the front of which are lion's claw, and is topped with black marble. Empire period (minor flaws in the veneer, small accidents, small chips in the marble and restorations) Height : 145.5 cm - Width : 96.5 cm - Depth : 42.5 cm
