[Drawing]. [Ceramics]. [LEDUC (Adrien Auguste)]. Important set of original decorative projects for the decoration of porcelain from the Manufacture nationales de Sèvres. Adrien A. Leduc, painter and decorator, headed the Formes et décors laboratory at the Manufacture from 1919 to 1954. The drawings are done in pencil on small sheets, some on tracing paper or cardboard, most enhanced with gouache. Each piece is mounted on strong ecru paper (modern mounting). Certain themes stand out and form ensembles: the Art Deco style, folk iconography, particularly from Brittany and Scandinavia, the Japanese style, and a series on Christ.
