Buddha torso under the Muchalinda naga. Sandstone. The snake heads of Muchalinda overhang the Buddha's head to protect him from torrential rain. rain. The treatment of the naga still refers to the Khmer style of the Bayon, while the Buddha's head, although very eroded, announces a post-Angkorian style.
