PREHISTORY. - Letters from Stanislas MEUNIER (Muséum letterhead, interesting letter on prehistoric weapons which "are of powerful interest (and which) are certainly several times the 4000 years old that you say they are [...]"), Paul RIVET (Muséum letterhead), Gabriel de MORTILLET, Ernest HAMY (3, one on the letterhead of the Congrès international d'anthropologie & d'archéologie préhistoriques, about a publication made with Émile Cartailhac, 1889), Joseph-Marie-Jules PARROT (about his studies on prehistoric syphilis) + 1 map by Quatrefages de Bréau. - 4 original photographs of rock engravings (southern Algeria, dated 1903). - Manuscript with a dozen "prehistoric era" drawings, 2 pp. in-folio. - 29 old postcards depicting prehistoric sites, mainly in Les Eyzies (Dordogne). - Autograph manuscript signed by Paul ADAM, "Le Pithécanthropus et ses fils", 9 pp. in-4 (missing pp. 4 and 5), circa 1900, erasures and corrections.
