Sèvres-like “blèu du roi” porcelain vase with gilt bronze mount, late 19th Century.
Bronze mount, handles and base. Decorated with a scene with variations of the Battle of Lauffeld by Louis XV of France. On the back, a view of a palace. Signed “Desprez”. Inside the lid, an inscription: “Offert par le Duc de Richelle a la princesse de Lamballe”, and a Sèvres-like mark. 84 cm high max. Part of the mount and foot are missing. It rests directly on the base. Minor defects on the gilding.
