Large Sèvres-like “blèu du roi” porcelain vase with gilt bronze mount, late 19th Century.
Bronze frame, handles and base. Decorated with a scene with variations of the Battle of Fontenoy by Louis XV of France. On the back, a view of a palace. Signed “Desprez”. Inside the lid, an inscription “Offert par le Duc de Richelle a la princesse de Lamballe”, and a Sèvres-like mark. 109 cm high max. (with lid). Minor damages on the gilding.
