A SILVER- AND COPPER-INLAID BRONZE JAIN TIRTHANKARA SHRINE Northwest India, probably dated 1600 H. 16 cm Seated in vajrasana on a cushion supported by an elaborate throne cast with a pair of lions to its front, both hands in the dhyanamudra, his chest with the srivatsa emblem, silver inlaid eyes, parasol above his head flanked by a pair of elephants, surrounded by various tirthankas and worshippers, the reverse with lengthy inscription.
