A FINE CARVED WOODEN DOOR ENTRANCE Indian, Gujarat region, 17th/ 18th ct., H. 185 cm The arched door entrance consists of a platform, a pair of side pillars and a lintel, all carved in very high relief with various deities belonging to the Hindu pantheon, including Vishnu seated on Garuda in the centre of the lintel.
