A FINE BRONZE OKIMONO OF A MAN POSSIBLY DAIKOKU Japan, signed Unshô saku 雲正作, Meiji period H. 35 cm Detailed cast bronze figure of the standing god of fortune dressed in a long robe and trousers, wearing boots on his feet. He is carrying a sack over his left shoulder and was possibly holding a hammer in his right hand. Fine and individualised face features, his hair tied up to knots at the sides. Bronze, details accentuated in gold. From a South German private collection, acquired prior to 2007 - Minor wear
