Le livre de la chasse. Paris, Lebaud, 1976. 2 vol. in-folio, publisher's 150 180 suede (first volume) and half-suede (second volume) bindings, publisher's slipcases. Superb full facsimile of the finest illuminated manuscript of the most famous hunting treatise of the Middle Ages, donated by Louis XIV to the Bibliothèque Royale and still kept at the Bibliothèque Nationale. The second volume includes the translation into modern French, an introduction and comments. A fine copy.
