Violin by Friedrich Wilhelm Meisel, made in Klingenthal in 1782, bearing the original label and a repair label by Neuner in Berlin in 1911. Head jointed. Two-piece back 355 mm In good restored condition (including restored table cracks). With beautiful rectangular box reinforced with a frame. This violin was played by an American violinist in the 60s, notably for the Kennedy family at parties.
