Gibson electro-acoustic guitar model ES-125, year 1954 Launched in 1938 as the ES-100, the ES-125 was renamed in 1941 and remained in continuous production for over 30 years, becoming Gibson's most popular arch-top jazz model. With a laminated maple and mahogany body, a mahogany neck, a P-90 Alnico 5 pickup with volume and tone control, and a rosewood fingerboard with 19 frets and a 622mm (24.5") scale, this ES-125 is a fine example of the legendary models produced by Gibson in the 1950s. In playable condition, in its original case, with its original pickguard. The action has been replaced by recent Kluson 3X3 models.
